I just adjusted Blur's royalty toggle again, and suddenly I feel like one of those obsessive-compulsive people who keep checking if the gas stove is off.

The term "creator economy" sounds grand, but it's really just "if I draw something and you resell it, can I get a cut?" — now the cut is getting smaller, and some people have just smashed the cup altogether. It's only been half a year since secondary market royalties went from optional to nonexistent; platforms are competing even more fiercely than Layer2s. After all, users want cheap prices—who cares if the artists can afford to eat?

Last night I almost uninstalled Twitter. Watching those airdrop hunters sweep through like locusts and leave, while community managers keep shouting "family members" only for the family to just want money. But I reinstalled it in the morning... whatever, let's leave it at that. At least I can still draw a meme to complain about this—is this the last remaining perk of the creator economy?
