BlockBeats news: On July 5, U.S. President Donald Trump said Iran is “begging for a deal,” but said the two sides decided to suspend talks for one week until after the funeral of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. He added that during the pause, the two sides will not attack each other. “They’re all there. One strike could wipe them all out, but we won’t do that because then we wouldn’t have anyone left to negotiate with,” Trump said.

Earlier, Trump posted on Saturday that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had requested a meeting with him at the White House, possibly as early as next week after Trump concludes the NATO summit. “We get along very well. (Netanyahu) knows who the boss is,” Trump said.
