Deep Tides TechFlow news, July 5, Iranian Ambassador to China Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli said in an interview with media on the 4th in Beijing on the sidelines of the 14th World Peace Forum that Iran plans to charge service fees for passage through the Strait of Hormuz in accordance with international standards. Fazli said that before the outbreak of the US-Israel-Iran war, passage through the Strait of Hormuz was unobstructed. Currently, Iran has not said it will charge tolls or tariffs, but plans to charge service fees according to international standards to cover routine expenses such as ensuring navigation safety, navigation, and environmental protection. This practice is consistent with other waterways in the world. Regarding the current situation of the Strait of Hormuz, Fazli said that the passage through the strait is gradually returning to normal, and the channel jointly managed by Iran and Oman is re-establishing order.
