I saw the news that that chain is upgrading again, and the group has already started guessing which projects will exit and migrate. Suddenly I remembered an airdrop I clicked on last month out of impulse—burned a lot in gas fees, and the tokens still haven't shown up.

Actually, if I had waited a couple more days then to check the actual on-chain activity before deciding whether to jump in, I probably wouldn't have gotten rekt. Now I've learned my lesson—blocks will always fill up eventually, and the windows for low fees are actually more common than I thought; it's just that when you're anxious, you can't see them.
