I thought something was wrong with STONfi.

Turns out, every issue I ran into had a simple explanation.
After spending an afternoon swapping tokens, these were the problems I actually faced and what I learned from them.
🔹 My wallet wouldn't connect
I kept trying over and over with no luck. The fix was surprisingly simple. My wallet app needed an update, and my browser session had been sitting open for too long. After updating the app and reconnecting with a fresh session, everything worked perfectly.
🔸 The swap button wouldn't activate
I was convinced it was a bug. It wasn't. I had enough of the token I wanted to swap but not enough TON to cover the network fee. Now I always keep a small TON balance ready for gas fees.
🔺 My swap failed
Seeing a failed transaction can be stressful, but nothing was actually lost. The market price had changed before the transaction was confirmed, and my slippage setting was too low. I checked the transaction hash, confirmed the swap had simply reverted, adjusted the slippage slightly, and the next attempt went through without any issues.
▪ A token was missing from my wallet
I thought it had disappeared. It hadn't. The wallet just didn't detect it automatically. Importing the correct contract address made it appear instantly.
One thing this experience reminded me of is that STONfi is non custodial. The platform wasn't holding my funds or causing these issues. Every problem came down to my wallet setup, available TON for fees, or normal blockchain conditions.
Sometimes, taking a minute to check the transaction details can save you a lot of unnecessary panic.
