In a landslide victory, BJP candidates Durgamma Shashikanth Bijawad and Ratnabai Ekanath Nazare have been elected as the 25th mayor and deputy mayor of Hubballi-Dharwad respectively. The results, announced by Regional Commissioner K.M. Janaki, reflect the BJP's stronghold in the region. Bijawad, from ward 69, secured 50 votes against her opponent, while Nazare, from ward 9, won by a similar margin.
