Trend Notes | Michael Burry, the Bear King, Hits the Nail on the Head and Points Out the Hang Seng Index’s Deadly Flaw

Hong Kong stocks have fallen deeply and severely, with bodies strewn everywhere on Friday (June 26). Michael Burry of the movie "The Big Short" wrote a special article pointing out the Achilles' heel of Hong Kong stocks: "Hong Kong stocks are falling sharply because the chip narrative is pulling funds away from Hong Kong to South Korea and Japan." The market is currently raising its predictions of the likelihood of a US interest rate hike. If so, changes in the Hong Kong-US interest rate differential will further drive funds out of Hong Kong stocks.
