GitHub update frequency is much more honest than whitepapers. I always check the commit history first to see who is still fixing bugs and who is slacking off.

Audit reports? I only recognize names, not logos. When Certik is everywhere, you need to check the specific auditor and version number.

Once, a project upgraded its multi-sig wallet, and the announcement was full of hype. I casually took a screenshot and saved the old multi-sig address. Two weeks later, they indeed "operated incorrectly" and transferred funds to the wrong address. The old address screenshot became the only evidence in the group.

The RWA crowd now uses U.S. Treasury yields to calculate on-chain APY every day, which sounds nice, but who is the multi-sig custodian and who holds the upgrade permissions—these things that are not written in plain sight are the real bottom line.

For newbies judging credibility, it's simply: if it can be verified, don't believe the hype; if it can be screenshotted, don't trust your memory.

That's it for now. I'm going to back up a few multi-sig addresses.
