🇺🇸BREAKING: The Clarity Act just cleared its biggest political obstacle, and almost nobody is pricing it in yet.
Law enforcement opposition was the wall standing between this bill and 60 votes. That wall just cracked. NOBLE became the first major law enforcement group to endorse it outright, directly rebutting the Sheriffs and IACP's fear-mongering about enforcement gaps. MCSA dropped its opposition the very next day.
That is not a minor PR win. That is the exact cover wavering Democrats like Alsobrooks needed to say yes without looking soft on crime. The bill no longer needs the crypto industry to make its case. Law enforcement is doing it for them now.
Galaxy Research already moved the 2026 passage odds to 50%, and that was before MCSA flipped. The only fight left standing is ethics language, not substance. Everything that actually matters in this bill, the regulatory framework, the developer protections, the enforcement architecture, is no longer contested.
If this clears before the August 10 recess, US crypto gets what it has wanted since 2021: an actual rulebook instead of enforcement by lawsuit.
The market has spent all year pricing in uncertainty. The uncertainty is quietly disappearing.
