A man in Shanghai went to a high-end bathhouse to relax and took a fancy to a female masseuse. The two agreed on a price of 6,000 yuan for sex.

After finishing, the man made an excuse that he didn't have enough cash, pulled out a "big gold bar" (actually a gold-plated craft item bought for 29.9 yuan on Pinduoduo), and said, "This gold bar is worth over ten thousand, I'll give it to you as compensation. I'm the one losing out."

The female masseuse didn't catch on at first and was fooled into accepting the "gold bar."

Two days later, the masseuse took the "gold bar" to a jewelry store to sell it for cash. The owner immediately saw it was fake. Furious, she confronted the man online, but he insisted, "It's a limited edition, what do you know!"

The masseuse didn't call the police to report him for soliciting (afraid she'd get in trouble too), nor did she handle it privately with a fight. Instead, she did something that crushed the man: She directly added the man's wife on WeChat and sent her all the records—their hotel check-ins, payment records, and the conversation about the "fake gold bar"—packaged together to the wife.

As a result, the man's wife brought her family to storm the bathhouse and caused a huge scene. The man was beaten black and blue, and eventually the wife filed for divorce, forcing him to leave with nothing.

What a mess, right? Too bad, brothers. When you go out to have fun, you have to pay what you owe. After all, it's hard-earned money, right?
