The great Tao has no form

Abstract generation in progress
Today, while reading what I had written before, I suddenly realized where I went wrong. Last year's commercial aerospace and the current tech sector both became sustained trend themes, yet I couldn't make money. During range-bound markets, I consistently profited because the rotating multiple themes suited my frequent switching style—I could always grab small opportunities and take profits quickly. But once one theme dominates and the index trends upward, my habitual way of cutting in externally stops working. In May, to avoid overtrading, I tried spreading positions and buying daily, making dozens of percentage points. I thought it was because of the position splitting, but now I understand it was simply because the market was oscillating then and my rhythm was right. In June, when tech led the uptrend, I couldn't profit. I kept thinking the root issue was the momentum environment and which board to play, constantly struggling between buying on dips and chasing limit-ups. God, it only hit me today—it's a matter of timing the entries. That’s the core that has always supported my profitability. It’s like, why would proven logic gradually be forgotten after one or two setbacks? It’s like smoothly walking down a main road, then being lured by a side path, straying further and further until you hit a dead end, only to waste time getting back to the main road. Before, I was obsessing over entry techniques like limit-up chasing vs. dip buying, only to realize I had already wrestled with this years ago. It’s not about that. The core, as Yangjia and Kobe 92 said, is the effect of profit-making and loss-making cycles. I’ve had another damn epiphany. Next time I’m in a rough patch, I’ll look at these words and not stray again. Just follow this path, repeat and copy-paste. As for what the market speculates on or what medium carries the sentiment, or how long it will run—it doesn’t matter. For a small story, go in once and take a bite; for a big story, go in multiple times and take several bites. The key is to enter at the right time and capture the profit I can.
