Fuxiang Co., Ltd. announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Jiangxi Xiangtai Life Science Co., Ltd., has recently received the “Approval Notice for the Marketing Authorization of Torasemide as a Chemical Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient” issued and approved by the National Medical Products Administration. Torasemide is a highly effective diuretic, mainly indicated for patients with edema caused by congestive heart failure, cirrhotic ascites, and kidney diseases. According to data from Mi Nei Network, in 2024, the sales amount of Torasemide in domestic urban and county-level public hospitals, urban and online pharmacies, urban community hospitals, and township health centers was approximately RMB 407 million.
