A few days ago, the U.S. Commerce Department reportedly lifted export controls on Anthropic’s most advanced AI models.

A door that had been closed only weeks earlier in the name of national security reopened once safeguards were validated.

That short episode says a lot about the technology market today.

No matter how strong control or regulation may be, it rarely stops the direction of a major technological shift. It may delay it. It may force a detour. But if the technology keeps proving its value, it eventually finds a way forward.

Recently, the Alt.town ecosystem also faced an unexpected issue.

Nothing is fully final yet, but the timing of some activation and boost plans has been pushed back, and a few strategic cards we had been holding are now harder to play immediately.

But one thing is clear.

This does not weaken the vision we are building, or the value we see in the changing entertainment landscape. Web3 is still vulnerable to speculative trading and exhausting attacks. And sometimes, speaking honestly about the future can sound premature.

Still, I have seen how much this market has changed for the better. And I continue to believe it will keep improving.

Just as temporary control cannot stop the progress of AI, short-term market turbulence cannot shake the trust infrastructure we are building.

We will keep moving forward. As we always have, we will find other paths, other answers, and other ways to build.

Quietly, from places that may not always be visible, we will keep strengthening the foundation.

And together with those who continue to believe, we will prove a more honest future. $TOWN
