When there is a Bole, then there are thousand-mile horses. Thousand-mile horses are common, but Bole is not. Therefore, even if there is a famous horse, it suffers humiliation at the hands of a slave and, side by side, dies between the feeding troughs—never being known for being a thousand-mile horse.

A thousand-mile horse, at one meal, may consume a single full bushel of grain. The one who feeds the horse does not know its ability to travel a thousand miles, and feeds it as if it were ordinary.

This horse, even though it has the ability to travel a thousand miles, cannot be fed enough, has insufficient strength; its talent and fine qualities are not shown to the outside world. And yet it wants to be equal to ordinary horses but cannot be. How can it be expected to travel a thousand miles?
