CCTV News: A man illegally crossed into Myawaddy, Myanmar, and other places to participate in telecom fraud, inducing victims to invest in virtual currency and was sentenced to prison.

Mars Finance News, according to China Central Television News, the Shanghai Baoshan District Procuratorate released a case yesterday in which defendant Huang illegally crossed the border to participate in telecom fraud activities overseas, inducing victims to invest in cryptocurrencies. After the dissolution of the Myawaddy park in Myanmar, Huang continued to participate in "pig butchering" fraud, using AI face-swapping and foreign model communication to gain victims' trust and then guide them to invest in cryptocurrencies. Subsequently, the team leader would take over, tricking victims into registering, depositing, and investing on fake websites. Ultimately, the court sentenced Huang to two years and six months in prison for fraud and imposed a fine of 30,000 RMB.
