A man in Hangzhou quit his job with a monthly salary of 20k yuan, eating instant noodles every day to save money, just to maintain the persona of a "billionaire."

He had only a few hundred yuan in cash, but insisted on renting luxury cars and staying in five-star hotels. He targeted older single women on the dating market, claiming to be "the only son of the chairman of a listed company," with countless properties under his name.
During the relationship, he acted extremely lavish, taking the women to high-end restaurants, while the bags and jewelry he bought were all high-end fakes—the women never noticed.
Until one day, while driving the rented sports car to pick up a woman, he got into a fender bender. When the woman accompanied him to handle the accident, the traffic police checked the system and found that the man had overdue car loans and various debts totaling 500k yuan. Moreover, his so-called "luxury villa" was actually a script-kill game room rented for 200 yuan a day, used to meet the women.
In the end, the woman angrily reported him to the police. An investigation revealed that he had used this "rich second generation" script to date four women simultaneously, defrauding them of more than 200,000 yuan in cash and goods.
After succeeding in his scam, he turned around and bought lottery tickets, attempting to "fight poison with poison" and win back his losses.
Ultimately, the man was sentenced to four years in prison for fraud and fined 50k yuan.
