Jinse Finance reports that on July 4, according to former Fox Business journalist Eleanor Terrett, the Major County Sheriffs of America (MCSA) has adjusted its stance on the Clarity Act to "neutral" after "several days of ongoing discussions" regarding certain provisions of Section 604 of the Act. In a letter to Senate banking leaders, MCSA stated that based on its ongoing review of the bill, there are still opportunities to "further strengthen the legislation to support responsible innovation as well as the practical needs of state and local law enforcement."
