Coin World News, according to Decrypt, Zcash developers say the Ironwood upgrade is nearing testnet activation. The upgrade introduces a new accounting system to verify the network's circulating supply and maintain transaction privacy, aiming to address supply integrity concerns caused by the May Orchard vulnerability. Disclosure of the vulnerability led to ZEC's price dropping from over $600 to around $300 within two days; it has now recovered to $457. Shielded Labs pointed out that migrating exchanges, wallets, and mining pools to the new Z3 software stack is a deployment challenge, and the team aims to complete the Ironwood upgrade and ecosystem migration by the end of July.

The mining pool upgrade is the slowest; hope it won't get stuck at the last mile like last time.

The drop of ZEC from 600 to 300 was too painful. Now it's back to 457. After repair, can it surge back to the previous high?

Ironwood is finally here. The supply audit has been delayed too long, and the market should have been given an explanation long ago.

The Orchard vulnerability in May scared away a group of people. If something goes wrong with this upgrade again, it's really over.

How does the accounting system of privacy coins verify transactions? I’m curious about the technical details—can someone who understands explain?

The Z3 migration mentioned by Shielded Labs is the real tough battle; the cooperation of exchanges determines success or failure.
