Zhanjiang, Guangdong initiates Level II emergency response for tropical cyclone.

Reporters learned from the Zhanjiang Maritime Safety Administration that due to the impact of Typhoon Maysak, the typhoon warning stations at Zhanjiang Port, the eastern and western coasts of the Leizhou Peninsula, and the north shore of the Qiongzhou Strait have simultaneously hoisted Signal No. 3. To effectively prevent typhoon risks, the Zhanjiang Maritime Safety Administration initiated a Level II emergency response for tropical cyclones at 7:00 on July 3, deploying various maritime typhoon defense measures. To prevent maritime risks, the Zhanjiang Maritime Safety Administration conducted inspections and verifications of key vessels such as marine construction vessels, sand dredging and transport vessels, wind power operation and maintenance vessels, and dangerous goods vessels, confirming their anchoring positions, loading status, and personnel evacuation situations.
