Africa CDC says DRC Ebola outbreak is still 'very serious'

African CDC Director General Kaseya said on the 2nd in Kinshasa, the capital of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), that the current Ebola outbreak in the country remains "very serious," with confirmed cases and deaths increasing rapidly. According to epidemic data released by the DRC government on the evening of the 2nd, as of the 1st, a total of 1,460 confirmed cases have been reported in the current Ebola outbreak, including 447 deaths, 595 patients are in isolation or receiving treatment, and 213 have recovered.
