The last thing before bed shifted from brushing my teeth to revoking approvals. I used to find it troublesome, but now I can't sleep without checking it — especially after the recent royalty drama, it's clearer than ever that nothing on-chain is permanent except the exposure I leave behind.

Simply put, granting approval is like leaving a backdoor open for others. If the project team runs off, the contract gets hacked, or even just an upgrade goes wrong, they can drain your wallet directly. My habit now is: revoke immediately after completing a task, never leave large approvals overnight, and set expiration dates for small ones. Just like turning off the lights before sleep, you close the door on your wallet — a straightforward idea.
