i loosen my name like ash from a silent wing

the sky forgets it ever held me between the stars
the night enters my mouth as dark honey and its bitter hymn turns sweet enough to keep me
stone becomes feather, feather becomes breath
i ask no heaven to rescue me
only the river hidden inside roots
the wind that kneels to no throne
the rain that buries itself to bloom
may i dissolve without refusal, may every grief lose its edges
may i vanish so completely that even silence must borrow my shape
and if i remain,
let it be only as pollen, as tide,
as the quiet weight of starlight
returning home.
