According to CNN, Israeli prosecutors have indicted Eli Lavon, a 21-year-old Jewish American man, accusing him of espionage for Iran and receiving payment in cryptocurrency. The indictment states that in November 2025, Lavon responded to a job advertisement on Telegram and was subsequently contacted by a foreign agent allegedly representing Iranian intelligence, who instructed him to photograph certain locations in Jerusalem and conceal items containing coded messages and USB drives. Prosecutors claim Lavon used two Telegram accounts and three phones to communicate and received approximately $1,379 in cryptocurrency. Lavon now faces charges of contacting a foreign agent and passing potentially useful information to the enemy; his lawyer denies that the actions constitute espionage.

You sold yourself for 1379 bucks? That exchange rate is even more ridiculous than DeFi mining.

Three phones, two numbers, but completely exposed on-chain, OPSEC score zero.
