No wonder @leto_bao是字节炒股退休的, he's not just all talk.

A fan asked "how long can storage keep rising?" and he directly said:
Short-term volatility is high, don't rush to buy the dip; if you have a position, allocate some OTM PUT protection.
In simple terms:
You hold SK Hynix shares and buy a few out-of-the-money put options as insurance.
As a result, SK Hynix fell 13.6% in 3 days.
If you only held the shares, 2.65 million fell to 2.29M, losing 361k won per share.
But if you followed his advice and bought PUTs with a strike price of 2.4 million and 1-month expiry, the cost was about 2% of the share value, i.e., 53k won.
After falling below 2.4 million, the PUT's intrinsic value was 111k won, netting a profit of 58k won after deducting the cost.
The portfolio loss narrowed from 13.6% to about 11.4%.
Just like that, reduced drawdown by 2 percentage points.
Many people think experts are guessing ups and downs, but actually they are buying insurance for their positions.
