This is exactly what I’ve been saying: we must not allow social media to corrupt our mindset.

Despite all the negativity online, there are still good people; people whose words still carry weight, people you can trust with your life.
A Nigerian man who lives in South Africa recently returned home and did something deeply moving, he prostrated before his elder brother in gratitude.
Why?
For years, he had been sending money home with one dream in his heart: to build a house for himself and his family.
He trusted his elder brother with every hard-earned naira.
In a world where greed has become common and betrayal feels normal, many would have expected disappointment. Many would have expected excuses. Many would have expected the money to disappear.
But his brother chose integrity.
He did not squander the money.
He did not betray that trust.
He honored it.
Patiently, faithfully, he used every penny wisely and built him a beautiful home.
Just imagine the emotion of returning after years of sacrifice… expecting anything… and finding your dream standing right in front of you.
That moment wasn’t just about a house.
It was about trust, loyalty, sacrifice, and brotherhood.
The painful truth is this: not every brother would have done that.
And that is exactly why stories like this matter.
They remind us that amidst the noise, betrayal, and cynicism around us, good people still exist.
Not everyone is out to cheat you.
Not everyone will take advantage of your vulnerability.
Some people still understand honor.
Some people still value trust.
Some people still choose to do right even when no one is watching.
And perhaps that is the hope we all need.
Shalom 🙏
