It’s a misunderstanding, a misunderstanding—let’s call it quits.

Meta’s Chief AI Officer responds to a market misunderstanding: Zuckerberg’s comments about slower AI agent development were not specific to Meta
In response to reports by the media that Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg told employees in an internal meeting that over the past four months the development of AI agents had not “accelerated at the pace we expected,” Meta’s Chief AI Officer Alexander Wang posted a reply to clarify that Zuckerberg was referring to the overall industry-wide progress in intelligent agent capabilities, not Meta itself. He also revealed that Meta is about to roll out a new round of Muse Spark updates, which will significantly enhance the model’s programming capabilities and intelligent agent capabilities, helping it better match and compete with leading models in the industry, and will be gradually launched on Meta AI and its new API platform. $METAB
