Gulf Stream Notes
This setup was opened a bit too hastily.
I kept taking on longs from the bottom. When the key level around 1700 was broken, I hesitated. I could clearly see that an RB structure was likely to form within the range, but I kept thinking about playing both sides—go short first, then come back and go long. Two-way orders have high tolerance for errors, and they do make it easier to throw off the rhythm.
At the moment, on the 15-minute timeframe, a measured, equidistant estimate of the breakout range has already appeared. If you refer to the “leg 1 = leg 2” approach, there is still the risk of a push higher. Although there’s still room in my position, after entering this trade, in the trading cycle there have been 4 consecutive K-lines or more moving in the direction opposite to my position—this has already touched my exit discipline.
Sometimes you have to leave when it’s time to leave—no overthinking. I’ll wait for the breakout and then place another “revenge” trade $ETH
