Some people say, "Isn't that obvious? Everyone knows buying index funds is stable." But I increasingly feel that these correct but useless words are the most valuable. It's the same logic as "study hard and make progress every day." Anyone can say it, and it sounds like it carries zero information. But those who truly listen and act on it, versus those who let it go in one ear and out the other, end up living completely different lives ten years later. Knowing but not doing is still not knowing.
