Spotify requires Kalshi and Polymarket to remove its logo and clarifies that there is no partnership between the two parties.
According to Bloomberg and other reports, Spotify has asked Kalshi and Polymarket to remove the Spotify logo, stating that there is no partnership between them. Previously, Spotify had pushed Malcolm Todd's "Earrings" to the top of the U.S. charts after it was artificially streamed over 500k times. Related data was used in Kalshi's June U.S. hit song prediction market settlement, with a trading volume of approximately $3 million. Spotify has confirmed the existence of artificial streaming but has not yet confirmed whether it was used to manipulate the prediction market.
