Bulgarian Prime Minister: Will Express Reservations on EU Sanctions Against Russia

On July 3, according to CCTV, Bulgarian Prime Minister Radev stated that Bulgaria will express reservations regarding the EU's 21st round of sanctions against Russia. Radev made this remark during a parliamentary meeting, emphasizing that the move aims to protect Bulgaria's national interests. "We will never allow sanctions against Russia to impact the Bulgarian economy," he said. He also noted that Bulgaria has no intention of abolishing its cooperation agreement with Ukraine in the security sector, and both he and the Bulgarian government support Ukraine's post-war reconstruction efforts. However, he will not support any documents or statements that do not contribute to resolving the conflict or may even exacerbate it.
