I’ve heard the “community is value” pitch from PFP circles for three years. Now, after watching everyone collectively “wait for official confirmation” following a cross-chain bridge theft, I suddenly feel that membership benefits are just like on-chain security—both are Schrödinger’s promises.

It’s not that PFP has no value. It’s just that I no longer believe slogans like “holding is faith.” When the data looks good, everyone is “family.” But when the oracle posts abnormal prices, that “gm” in Discord can’t save your position.

Brand collabs are getting more and more frequent, but what happens after the collab? My Azuki is still in my wallet, and I haven’t opened it in three months.
