Wow, it is reported that Alibaba has internally announced a complete ban on products related to the cutting-edge American AI lab Anthropic.

The ban requires all Alibaba employees to uninstall multiple model series including Claude Sonnet and Claude Opus, as well as development tools like Claude Code and other Agent products, before the policy takes effect on July 10.
This move means Claude will be completely phased out of Alibaba's internal R&D and toolchain ecosystem.
Previously, Alibaba had shown an open attitude toward employees using external cutting-edge AI.
Since early 2026, Alibaba not only provided employees with free usage quotas for internally developed models but also launched reimbursement policies for external cutting-edge models such as Claude, GPT, and Gemini, encouraging R&D personnel to mix external tools with the in-house Qoder code assistant to improve efficiency.
Any Alibaba employees here to confirm?
