Getting slapped in the face again and again is really awkward.

Just now, I came across some videos and articles claiming that no one is watching the World Cup, the on-site attendance is low, lots of tickets are still unsold, CCTV is done with it, and there’s no audience in China…
But the truth is: judging from the broadcast footage, the venues are packed—tickets are hard to get. On Xiaohongshu, live-stream viewership has exploded, up by dozens of times. And even with those extremely awful time slots, just from the group stage alone, the cumulative number of people watching the World Cup via CCTV has already reached 205 million—meaning that out of every 5 TVs that are turned on, 1 is tuned to the World Cup. Major media outlets’ World Cup-related trending searches keep staying high…
So where are all these doom-saying people coming from? Who keeps spreading FUD?
Those media outlets—“masters of winning”—can scam your buddies, but don’t scam yourselves.
