Gate launches gStocks tokenized securities service, opening a new channel between stock market and on-chain assets.

Odaily Planet Daily News: Digital asset trading platform Gate has officially launched the gStocks tokenized securities service, backed by a 1:1 full reserve of native stocks as underlying assets, opening a new investment gateway to global stock markets for users. The service relies on digital asset trading infrastructure, supporting 7×24 trading, order book matching, unified account management, and cross-asset interoperability, as well as providing API access to meet the needs of individual users and professional institutions in order execution, liquidity management, and hedging strategies. The first batch includes 15 tokenized securities trading pairs, covering globally popular stocks such as Micron, AMD, SanDisk, and SpaceX, with plans to expand to more high-quality stocks and ETF products, offering users richer and more diverse investment options.

As an important supplement to Gate’s existing product system, tokenized securities held by users can be used as collateral for leverage lending, and can also be included in financial products such as Yu Bi Bao (Interest-Earning Account), supporting trading bots, grid strategies, a minimum investment of 1 USDT, and fractional share trading. Gate has built a stock investment system covering the three major markets of US stocks, Hong Kong stocks, and Korean stocks, encompassing over 12,500 stocks and ETFs, providing stock dividends, cross-broker transfer of US and Hong Kong stocks, and corporate actions such as stock splits and reverse splits. In the future, Gate will continue to expand multi-chain compatibility and plans to launch a free 1:1 bidirectional conversion feature between native stocks and tokenized securities, promoting the integration of RWA (Real World Assets) with global capital markets.
