Miles Guo (Guo Wengui) is a former Chinese oligarch and one of the most well-known dissidents and critics of the CPC. After fleeing to the United States, he founded the media company GTV and political projects, amassing a large audience among the Chinese diaspora.

The FBI in New York and the SDNY reported that Guo was sentenced to 30 years in prison for orchestrating a scheme in which he raised over $1 billion from thousands of his online followers through false statements and promises of investments in various projects.

The victims' funds were not spent on the stated purposes but on Guo's and his family's personal luxuries—expensive sports cars, a mansion, and other costly purchases.

This is another case where a high-profile name, political activity, and audience trust were used to raise money under the guise of investments. Such schemes occur regularly in the crypto and investment space.

Be vigilant and cautious about alluring projects! 😎

PROFIT TO EVERYONE! 💪🤝
