PI/USDT: Oversold Conditions but Long-Term Risks Persist
PI/USDT is trading near historic lows, with short-term technical indicators suggesting a potential relief rally. However, ongoing token unlocks and uncertainty around ecosystem adoption continue to weigh on the longer-term outlook.
In the short term, PI/USDT is consolidating around $0.11775. The convergence of the MA5, MA10, and MA30 indicates that the market has yet to establish a clear directional trend.
The broader trend remains bearish. Since late May, price has consistently traded below key moving averages, while reports indicate a new all-time low of approximately $0.1110 in early July 2026. The asset also remains below the 20-day, 50-day, 100-day, and 200-day EMAs, reinforcing the prevailing downtrend.
One positive technical signal is the RSI, which recently fell to 27, its lowest reading since trading began. Such oversold conditions can lead to short-term rebounds, although they do not necessarily signal a trend reversal.
The primary bearish catalyst remains token supply. More than 127 million PI tokens are expected to unlock over the next month, increasing circulating supply and maintaining selling pressure.
Recent ecosystem announcements, including SoloHost, Pi Login, and PiVerify, have not materially improved market sentiment. This suggests investors remain focused on token supply rather than product development. With a maximum supply of 100 billion PI and a relatively small percentage currently circulating, concerns about future dilution remain.
Key technical levels to monitor are $0.1272 as initial resistance and the $0.1380–$0.1445 Fair Value Gap (FVG) if momentum strengthens. On the downside, a sustained break below $0.1110 could expose the $0.10 psychological support level.
Overall, PI/USDT faces a mixed outlook. Oversold conditions may support a short-term bounce, but the broader trend remains bearish. Until demand consistently outpaces new token supply, sustained upside is likely to remain limited.
