According to Bridge's announcement, it has obtained a Luxembourg Electronic Money Institution (EMI) license and received authorization as a crypto asset service provider under MiCA. The relevant dual licenses cover all 27 EU member states. Bridge stated that the license will support its expansion of stablecoin services to European enterprises and end users, including opening virtual IBANs in customers' names, providing euro accounts, and issuing customized euro-backed stablecoins.
