CoinWorld News reported that Wu learned that Solana NFT platform Exchange Art announced that it will officially cease operations on August 1, 2026, and the platform and related services will be unavailable after that date. Exchange Art stated that due to the long-term bear market in the on-chain art market, the company failed to find a financially viable path forward. Users should access their accounts and retrieve the necessary information. All artworks and funds currently held in Exchange Art's sales and escrow contracts will be released to their respective owners before the platform closes. Exchange Art said that all artworks have been minted on the Solana blockchain and can be imported to other markets, so artists and collectors do not need to take any additional actions to ensure the security of their works.
