Crypto Market Update
🔹 Bitcoin Dominance: 57.9%
🔹 Ethereum Dominance: 9.3%
🔹 Other Dominance: 32.8%
🔸 Total-1: $2.20 trillion
🔸 Total-2: $928 billion
🔸 Total-3: Approximately $415 billion
Looking at the market as a whole, Bitcoin dominance remains quite strong, accounting for more than half of the total market. Much of this can be explained by the recent recovery; Bitcoin has gained nearly nine percent on a weekly basis, yet capital remains predominantly Bitcoin-centric.
Ethereum dominance hovers around nine and a half percent, indicating that despite Ethereum's relatively strong performance in the altcoin market in recent weeks, its share hasn't grown significantly due to Bitcoin's faster recovery. All altcoin and stablecoin assets grouped under the "Other" category constitute approximately one-third of the market, indicating that the altcoin side remains largely constrained by Bitcoin dominance.
Total2, the total market capitalization excluding Bitcoin, is currently around $928 billion, a frequently used indicator to measure the overall strength of the altcoin side of the market. When we look at Total3, the pure altcoin market remaining after Bitcoin, Ethereum, and stablecoins are removed is approximately $415 billion. The magnitude of this figure is an important reference point for those wishing to assess whether true altseason conditions have emerged, as a rise in Total3 is usually observed when capital begins to shift away from Bitcoin and Ethereum and spread to smaller altcoins. Looking at the current situation, it appears that such a rotation has not yet clearly begun, and the market is still largely driven by Bitcoin.
For those following the market through Gate, the key point to watch is how Total3 will perform in the coming days, because a significant increase in this number would be the clearest technical indicator that capital is truly beginning to flow into altcoins.
