American 250's bull trap? Non-farm payroll positive effect fails? Nasdaq turned from green to red down 1%, whales are using the data to cash out?

June non-farm payrolls only increased by 57k, US stocks initially traded on "reduced rate hike pressure" at open, then Nasdaq quickly turned red and fell about 1%. The interest rate benefit from bad news is being overshadowed by concerns over economic slowdown and high tech stock valuations.

Currently the market shows clear divergence: Nasdaq: surged then pulled back, tech and semiconductors remain under pressure; Dow: relatively strong, capital shifting to traditional and defensive sectors; Gold: still up about 2%, safe-haven and rate trades dominate; Silver: up about 4%, but significantly more volatile; BTC: still above $61k, not yet fully following the drop.

Nonfarm payrolls at 57k, far below expectations, market first bets on rate cuts then fears recession. Is BTC decoupled from macro or just lagging? Feels like waiting for a signal that U.S. stocks have stabilized.

The “old Americans” are playing this data brilliantly—luring people in at the open, then cutting them down. The Nasdaq flipped and turned green by 1%—a classic move. Gold and silver, on the other hand, are really enjoying it, with all the capital rushing into safe havens.

The Dow is strong while the Nasdaq is weak—this script is all too familiar: under expectations of an economic slowdown, funds are rotating into traditional sectors, and the tech stock valuation correction is far from over. Circle dropping 17% is pretty brutal.

It's quite surprising that BTC didn't follow the drop. Did the 61k level hold?
