Guangzhou Marubi Biotechnology Co., Ltd. was fined 8,400 yuan for violating the Measures for the Implementation of the Fire Protection Law of the People’s Republic of China in Guangdong Province.

Recently, Guangzhou Marubi Biotechnology Co., Ltd. added an administrative penalty record. The notice shows that the Huangpu District Fire Rescue Brigade of Guangzhou believed that Guangzhou Marubi Biotechnology Co., Ltd. violated Article 19, paragraph 2 of the Guangdong Province Implementation Measures for the Fire Protection Law of the People’s Republic of China.

It is understood that Article 19 of the Guangdong Province Implementation Measures states that buildings (groups of buildings) that install automatic fire alarm systems and that require coordinated control of fire-fighting equipment shall set up a fire control room. The fire control room shall implement a twenty-four-hour shift duty system by its managing unit, with no fewer than two people per shift; for fire control rooms whose all control functions can be remotely operated through the city fire remote monitoring system, there shall be no fewer than one person per shift. Fire control room duty and operating personnel shall, in accordance with law, obtain the corresponding-level occupational qualification certificates for fire industry-specific jobs, be proficient in the procedures and requirements for handling fire alarms, and perform their relevant post duties in accordance with law.

Pursuant to Article 45 of the Guangdong Province Implementation Measures for the Fire Protection Law of the People’s Republic of China, Guangzhou Marubi Biotechnology Co., Ltd. was fined $8,400.
