REDSkill full rollout is worth paying attention to.
In the past, Skill was on GitHub, and developers found that regular users couldn't access it. Now it's embedded in notes, and users naturally discover it while browsing content—one click to install. The distance from discovery to acquisition has been compressed from "active search with barriers" to "stumbling upon it while scrolling."
In July, the full rollout had 2,437 valid mounts and 1,141 Skills. The way AI tools reach ordinary users is being rewritten by this distribution logic.
