Is WLD still worth watching? Don't just treat it as an ordinary public chain.

Conclusion first: WLD is not a low-risk coin, but you can't write it off using only the standard TVL model.

When people look at WLD, they tend to go to two extremes. One kind only sees how much it has dropped and thinks it's already cheap; the other kind only sees that World Chain's on-chain data is mediocre and thinks it's completely worthless. I think both views are incomplete.

WLD's real core is not how much on-chain fees it generates today, but whether it has the chance to become the foundational framework for human verification in the AI era.

In the future, there will be more and more AI accounts, bots, deepfakes, and fake users. Social platforms, meetings, signatures, advertising, gaming, anti-spam, and AI agents will all need to answer one question: Is the person on the other side of the screen actually a real human?

What World wants to build is this layer of infrastructure. The Orb handles high-confidence human verification, World ID handles privacy-preserving proof, and World App and World Chain handle user onboarding and the ecosystem. Plus, with Sam Altman's influence, WLD naturally carries the narrative premium of being the identity gateway for the AI era.

But its problems are also clear: A grand project story doesn't mean WLD tokens have already captured value. World ID might charge fees in the future, and it could support WLD through protocol fees, ecosystem reinvestment, or burning, but these have not yet materialized at scale.

So my understanding of WLD is: It's not a mature cash-flow asset, but a high-volatility option on AI identity infrastructure. When evaluating it, you can't just look at TVL or celebrity endorsements. The key is real usage of World ID, whether application parties are willing to pay, and whether protocol revenue can flow back to WLD.

Additionally, WLD cannot avoid biometrics regulation. The Orb's iris scanning will face strict scrutiny in different countries. If regulatory conditions fluctuate, the pace of project expansion will be affected.

For the public section, I'll only give the core judgment: WLD is worth tracking, but don't get overly attached to the narrative. Its upside comes from AI human verification, and its risk comes from regulation, unlocks, and insufficient token value capture. What can truly drive it higher is not short-term pumps, but the gradual realization of World ID fees, protocol reinvestment, and real application data.
