My daughter's kindergarten admission notice finally came out, and she was successfully accepted by our first choice.

Choosing which kindergarten to apply for was a bit like gambling. We visited several kindergartens near our home. The first-choice school was close by, had a good reputation, and a nice environment. But they only accepted 75 kids. Just in our neighborhood, there were many applicants. On the day we submitted the materials, there were probably over 200 people. I thought we were done for, because we rent our home and couldn't even get a rental certificate. Unexpectedly, we got accepted today. 😆

Other people in the neighborhood, considering the high number of applicants and the limited spots, chose to withdraw voluntarily.

Fortunately, I didn't back down. I thought that even if we weren't chosen, at least I tried, and I would have no regrets.
