- Meta sells computing power, and you interpret it as an oversupply?

- If something is truly in oversupply, can you still sell it?
Meta says it will sell computing power, the market panics, semiconductors plunge,
I see many KOLs saying things like "Meta has started selling computing power, meaning computing power is no longer needed, meaning oversupply, run away."
??? My first reaction when I saw this reasoning was, there are several logical steps missing here.
Selling computing power and oversupply are not the same thing at all.
Let me first ask a very simple question.
If something is truly in oversupply, can you still sell it?
Oversupply means supply exceeds demand. When supply exceeds demand, it's something you can't even sell at a reduced price even if you hold onto it.
