To be honest, I think it's enough for retail investors to know that "someone is packaging your trade for you." Digging deeper is just asking for trouble.



Look, recently everyone is calculating unlock selling pressure and getting super anxious, but many people haven't realized—whether your trade can get executed first sometimes depends on who is behind the RPC you're using.

Whether the Builder picks bundles with more MEV to insert first, or honestly sorts by time, the experience is very different.

My current approach is pretty lazy: for large swaps, I first check the mempool congestion; for small amounts, I don't care, since being sandwiched won't lose much anyway.

As for which specific Builder is running what private order flow... that's something researchers should keep an eye on. I'll stick with this for now.
