To be honest, I am getting more and more impatient with governance tokens.

I used to think that delegated voting was emancipating retail investors, but now looking at on-chain data — the top twenty addresses hold nearly half the votes, and the outcome is already decided before proposals even hit the forum. The AI Agent narrative is even more ironic; those who tout 'automated democracy' mostly bundle your votes and sell them to the treasury; those who are truly security-conscious are instead calculating the gas costs of signature verification, and nobody pays attention.

Oligarchy is not a bug, it's a designed feature. My current approach: either vote myself, or simply don't hold governance tokens, to avoid the illusion of being a denominator propping up others.
