Gate has officially launched "Stock Transfer-In" and "Stock Transfer-Out" services, enabling inter-brokerage transfers for stocks traded on US and Hong Kong exchanges and further strengthening the global stock trading ecosystem. Users can now transfer eligible stock assets from external brokerages to Gate or move positions held in their Gate stock accounts to other brokerages, offering greater flexibility and efficiency in the management and allocation of stock assets.

Gate’s newly launched transfer service charges no fees for these stock transfers. The service utilizes the Free of Payment (FOP) transfer method. US stock transfers are processed via the Depository Trust Company (DTC) system, while Hong Kong stock transfers are handled through the Central Clearing and Settlement System (CCASS). The transfer process typically takes between 3 and 15 business days; the actual completion time varies depending on the operational efficiency of the brokerages involved and market settlement procedures.

To use the service, users can access the "More" section in the Gate App and select "Stock Transfer" or "Stock Withdrawal" under "Common Features." After selecting the US or Hong Kong stock market, users can submit a transfer request by providing the necessary brokerage details, stock ticker, share quantity, and other relevant information. For transfers into Gate, users must first contact their current brokerage to initiate the outbound transfer. For transfers out of Gate, users must accurately provide the receiving brokerage's details. The platform also offers a transfer history feature that allows users to track the status of their requests—including Pending, Completed, and Cancelled—in real-time.

Gate has launched a limited-time "Stock Transfer Rewards" campaign to further reduce costs for users transferring assets between brokerages. During the campaign period—valid from July 1, 2026, to July 7, 2026—users who submit a successful transfer request for US or Hong Kong stocks valued at 3,000 USDT or more can apply for a fee rebate by providing a valid transfer fee voucher from their original brokerage. Participants will also benefit from an instant VIP level upgrade. Transfer fee rebate rewards include up to 15,000 USDT for US stock transfers, up to 6,000 USDT for Hong Kong stock transfers, and VIP upgrades up to VIP 9. The rebate amount is determined based on the actual transfer fees incurred and the relevant tier criteria.
