Mars Finance News, July 1st - Citigroup has lowered its expectations for Bitcoin and Ethereum over the next 12 months, cutting its Bitcoin target price from $112,000 to $82,000 and reducing its Ethereum price target from $3,175 to $2,240. Citigroup stated that weakening investor interest, declining ETF inflows, and a lack of progress in U.S. digital asset legislation have all harmed the crypto outlook. The adjustment follows its decision to cut its forecast for net ETF inflows over the next 12 months from $10 billion to zero. Citigroup also noted that slow progress in U.S. crypto legislation and concerns over potential sales of Bitcoin by digital asset management companies have weighed on investor sentiment, with this weakness coinciding with a shift in capital toward AI-related assets.
