Top Republican officials demand Lutnick to halt crypto PAC's political spending in Texas.

ME News: On April 24 (UTC+8), senior Republican officials recently called U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, asking him to intervene in the relevant investment plans of the crypto political action committee Fellowship PAC, which is supported by his former company Cantor Fitzgerald, in Texas. The PAC previously disclosed in FEC filings that it planned to spend $1.75 million to support Ken Paxton, raising concerns within the party about its involvement in the sensitive primary. Sources say the PAC ultimately did not run the relevant ads, and Republicans later said the concerns have been alleviated. Fellowship PAC is associated with Tether and previously stated it plans to raise $100 million for the 2026 elections, having already raised approximately $11 million. (Source: ODAILY)
